The E.Bynum Educational Center is not a school.
It operates exclusively as an After School Learning Center.The After School Program provides assistance with homework, tutoring, computer literacy, activities, and developing self esteem.

Bynum educational center is a place that promotes Education. Our mission is to provide quality tutoring with paid staff and qualified volunteers. .

To provide a place to promote education.
 
To provide leadership and guidance through compassion and understanding.
 
To provide resources for children to learn African American Culture.

The Bynum Center has been a participant in Governor Hunt's
Support Our Students ( SOS ) Program since school year
 1997 - 1998 to present.
 
The Program targets at-risk students grades 6th - 8th, providing
guidance, help with homework and tutoring, partnership with Alamance County 4-H. Bynum has a 4-H Club.
Our Saturday Academy meets the 1st and 3rd Saturday in each month.
